I 100% think you should keep Smol Dragon Girl’s colors just as they are. I don’t think anything could be better.

The blue/black combo works well with smol dragon I like it lot but if/when you do change it can you consider keeping the blue eyes?
Oh definitely, I’ve grown super fond of the blue pupils, bits and insides! So those won’t be going anywhere when she gets her official colors. o/

So is Dragon Girl really a Dragon or a Kobold? (given her size and a few details missing between her and other depictions of Dragons.)
Actually, a rather good question. Had to check what a Kobold was. I don’t usually follow what’s already be categorized on fictional species. But I’d say she’s a Dragon that’s forever short/will eventually grow. (Tho wingless) only thing that’s a given– is that she can willingly breath/spew large flames out of her tiny body.
I’d like to touch on this more when i can.
